Amir Aviv, CEO of Poalim Capital Markets, has announced the appointment of Roy David as head of investment banking and member of management at Poalim Capital Markets.
Roy David (39) joined PCM in 2005, and acted as VP Investment Banking at the company. In this capacity, he represented Israeli clients in international mergers and acquisitions and worked to develop PCM’s business in the U.S., Europe and China. Among other transactions, Roy led the investment in “Yes To Carrots” and the sale of “Care Vision”, and has recently managed Perrigo’s sale of Careline to Emilia Development.
Before joining Poalim Capital Markets, Roy worked at leading New York law firm Davis Polk, where he specialized in representing investment banks in public issues and private placements, and in mergers and acquisitions.
Roy David holds an LL.M. (summa cum laude) from Columbia University in New York.
